"Absolutely loved my first experience of forest bathing today guided by Ruth. I purposely had no expectations of what it entailed so that I could just enjoy being in nature and switching off mentally, allowing myself to just embrace whatever Ruth had in store! Ruth creates a very comfortable vibe, which resulted in a beautiful connection with her and amongst our group. I love how every aspect of the session she ‘invites’ you to try different experiences or mindfulness tasks. But makes it very clear that you are welcome to enjoy the session in any way you wish without any ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ judgement or expectations. Overall I found this unique experience very calming and relaxing and Ruth’s attention to detail was beautiful. It’s clear she is very passionate about mindfulness and nature and her forest bathing is a true reflection of that. Forest bathing with Ruth allowed me to switch off all the mental chatter, embrace the peace of the forest and appreciate the beauty of mindfulness amongst the trees and nature. "Forest bathing with Ruth was a deeply immersive and moving experience. I felt calmer and more grounded, tuning in to senses such as touch and smell and fully experiencing the forest and individual trees in a way I haven't done before. Walking barefoot felt tentative and slightly awkward on pampered, softened feet, but was wonderfully liberating. Feeling the velvety soil, crisp leaves and sharper twigs underfoot instantly connects you to the Earth and almost shocks the senses into being totally present in the moment. I found myself vowing to toughen up the soles of my feet with lots more barefoot walking. The session ended with a beautiful tea ceremony, and feeling immensely thankful to the forest for the gifts it gave us so freely, and thankful to Ruth for guiding us through such a healing and uplifting experience.
